It gets super poufy and that puffiness goes right into each of these pretzels and makes these soft pillowy pretzels. But my pretzels won’t do that to you, I promise! The ingredients in this recipe are actually quite basic and I really love the dough. The last time I was at the mall, I split some pretzel bites with my husband and then promptly got a stomachache right after eating them. Even though each pretzel is probably like 2,000 calories. You know that you pause when you smell the pretzels wafting through the air just calling to be eaten. They didn’t have that distinct soft pretzel texture like the Wetzel pretzels that you get in the mall. I have made pretzels over the years and without the acidic solution that you dip the dough into they never turned out exactly how I want them to be. I would say that these soft pretzels are one of my favorite recipes that I have ever posted on the blog. Hello everyone and welcome back to another post!
